Who we are
Introducing Joben Herrera, an innovative LA-based wine producer who combines a deep passion for wine with a commitment to education and exploration of its diverse expressions worldwide. Joben’s journey in the wine industry has taken him to working with some of the best chefs in the industry such as: Chris Bianco (Bianco Pizzeria), Walter Manzke (Church & State), Jim McCardy (Marstons), Nancy Silverton (Mozza Restaurants), Joachim Splichal (Patina Group). In 2016, while working for Wine and Spirits, he was put on a wine-tasting panel that allowed him to taste great wines from all over the world, igniting his passion for wine.
Given his wide breath of wine & food knowledge, Joben’s approach to wine producing involves showcasing a limited selection of wines each year, highlighting the terroir and distinct characteristics from all over the world. With a focus on quality over quantity, he carefully selects vineyards from the north and south of the equator, curating exceptional bottles from each region annually.
To Joben, each vintage represents a moment captured in time, with a set number of bottles produced for the harvest. This approach ensures that every bottle is a rare and cherished experience, embodying the unique qualities of the vineyards and the winemaking process.
Through his wines, Joben invites all wine enjoyers, from the casual drinker to the wine aficionado, to appreciate the nuances of wine from different corners of the globe.
